For this activity I chose the song Cover Me In Sunshine by Pink. I decided to draw a globe because in the song one of the lines says “Tell me that the world’s been spinning” so I drew a world spinning. It was quite hard to try and draw this because it is still image.

Store owner dies of stab wounds after robbery in Auckland.
A store owner has been unfortunately stabbed in a robbery at an Auckland dairy. Police have launched a manhunt for the culprit. They were called at 8.05pm after an offender entered the store armed with a knife. The worker suffered critical injuries. They were transported to hospital but tragically passed away soon after. The criminal not only stabbed the worker but stole the cash register.
More than a dozen police officers remained at the scene after 9.30pm. Many people were shocked that something like this happened.
Today in technology there was nothing for me to do because I had finished the week before. Mr Grandy, the hard materials teacher, asked if Hanady and I could help him file and sand his pendants, because some had stolen his display ones. By the time the class was over we both had finished filing and were on our third sandpaper. That was a lot faster than the last time I was doing this. The shape that he asked me to do was a seahorse and it was quite difficult to hold.
Today in technology I finished everything in my workbook. I finished my box and I finished my pendant. To finish my box I had to pick out a fabric. I chose a purple coloured one. It was a very soft fabric. When I glued it on I had to wait half an hour for it to dry. after it had fully dried, the teacher drilled a hole into the wood and put the screw in the hole. Then for the last step I stained the wood. Next week is the last week of technology, so I am glad I finished.
Today in technology I finished my worksheet and finished my pendant. The teacher then polished my pendant with a buffer for a good finish. After I polish with the brasso to make it shiny and hung my pendant on a string with a parrot clip. For the final step me and Hanady started making our boxes. We didn’t get to finish because we ran out of time but I hope that next time we can finish. The easiest part of the day was finishing my work book.
Haiku are short Japanese poems with a of three lines. The first and third lines are five syllables each and the second line is seven syllables. When you write a Haiku you have to remember this rule because if you don’t it will not end up being a Haiku poem.
Last week in technology I finished the last two sandpapers, but I forgot to sand the edges. So this week I had to finish sanding the edges. After that I started sanding the pendant when it was wet. If you are finished sanding it dry you have to sand it when it is wet. to sand it wet you have to make a puddle on your sandpaper and sand as you normally would. When I started sanding it wet I found that it was a lot smoother than sanding it when it is dry. When you sand it wet it is easier because the water washes the little shavings off it.
Today in technology I started sanding with a different sandpaper. This new sand paper was more fine and definitely faster than the other one. While I was waiting for the teacher to come and check if I could move on to the next sandpaper I finished my worksheet. On my worksheet I had to write about why I chose to make my pendant for this person and why I chose that design. We also had to write the process it will take and how long it will take.
I put a glass of water in my all about me because I like to drink water and it is good for you. I put in chips because I like to eat chips even tho they are not good for you. I put in a paint pallet and a paint brush because I like to paint. I put in an arrow because I am always going up.
